Step-by-step guide

Share one
position’s result

Turn a single holding into a picture card showing how much it is up or down — as a percentage or an amount — then save it or send it.

A short walkthrough for capturing and sharing a single position’s profit screen.

Four steps

On the real screens
01

Go to your account

Open Moomoo and press the Accounts icon in the bottom bar. It turns orange when you are on the right screen.

Press Accounts — third icon in the bottom bar (circled).
Check you are on the Assets tab.
Check the Securities sub-tab is selected, not Funds.
Go to your account
Accounts, bottom bar — Assets / Securities selected above
02

Open the position and press Share

Scroll down to the Positions section, choose the stock you are interested in, and press the share icon.

Mask the other positions and the account number to avoid confusion.

Scroll down to Positions.
Press the stock you want to share, once.
A grey toolbar opens under that row: Quotes, Trade, TP/SL, Options, Share, Margin.
Press Share (circled).
Open the position and press Share
Press the position row, then Share
03

Choose how the performance is shown

You will now see the performance of the position, in % or in absolute value.

Check the top tab reads Position P/L and the stock name below it is the right one.
Use the row at the bottom (circled) to switch the figure: Yield for percentage, P/L, Unrealized P/L or Realized P/L for absolute value.
Pick a background sticker from the row above it if you want.
Choose how the performance is shown
Position P/L card — the bottom row switches between percentage and absolute value
04

Save or share the card

Press the Save/Share button to send your card on.

Press Save/Share, top right of the previous screen.
A sheet slides up with the sharing options (circled).

Before you post it

Mask what is not the point

Blur the other positions and your account number. You are showing one result, not opening your books.

One position is not your year

A single winner says nothing about how the account did overall. The P/L Calendar is the honest picture.

Percentage or amount — pick deliberately

A large percentage on a small position and a large amount on a big one tell very different stories.

Losses count too

Sharing only winners builds a picture that is not true, for other people and for you.

For education only. Not personal advice. A single position’s result is not indicative of overall performance, and past results do not predict future ones.
