Step-by-step guide

How to pull your
Yearly P/L Calendar

Your P/L Calendar is the clearest picture of how your account has actually performed — month by month, across a full year. Learning to pull it yourself means you never have to guess whether you are up or down.

Follow the five steps in order; each one shows the real screen, with the button to press circled in red.

Five steps, on the real screens
01

Open the app and go to Accounts

Unlock your phone, open Moomoo, and tap Accounts — the middle icon in the bottom bar. It turns orange once selected.

This tab is where everything about your own money lives: holdings, cash, orders and performance. Get used to starting here rather than on Markets.

If a login screen appears, log in first, then tap Accounts again.

Step 01 — red ring: the Accounts tab
02

Tap the Total Assets card at the top

Stay on the Assets tab. The first card shows Total Assets with your balance and a small chart — that figure is your cash plus the market value of everything you hold.

Tap anywhere on the card, or Assets Analysis › on its right edge; both open the analysis behind it.

Do not tap the Net Assets card further down. It looks similar, but it opens your holdings list instead of the analysis.

03

On My Assets, scroll down

You land on My Assets. The ring at the top, Assets Overview, shows how your money is split between cash, stocks and options — worth a look, because allocation drives most of your risk.

Below it, Trend Analysis plots your P/L over time. Neither is what we came for, so keep swiping up.

The 1W / 1M / YTD buttons only change the chart above. They do not affect the calendar below, so leave them as they are.

Step 03 — keep scrolling past Trend Analysis
04

Scroll down to P/L Calendar

Keep scrolling until the heading P/L Calendar appears, below Trend Analysis and near the bottom of the page.

This section breaks your performance into calendar periods instead of one continuous line — the same numbers, in a form you can compare period against period.

Nothing to tap in this step — just scroll until the heading is on screen.

Select Year

On the right of the heading there is a two-option switch: Month | Year. Month shows day-by-day results, useful when reviewing individual trades. Year shows Jan to Dec in one view, with the year’s total P/L and return on top.

Tap Year — that is the view we use for reviews, because one bad week matters far less than the shape of a full year.

Check the year on the left (e.g. 2025) is the one being reviewed. Tap it to switch to another year.

How to read your Year view

What the numbers are telling you

Read the yearly return % before the dollar figure. Percentage is the only fair way to compare your year against the market, or against your own previous years.

Then count the months: how many were green, and how deep were the red ones? Consistency across twelve months says more than one large winning month.

Note your worst month. That is your risk tolerance being tested for real. If it felt unbearable at the time, position sizing is what needs changing.

III

If something looks wrong

No P/L Calendar section

You either did not scroll far enough, or you opened the Net Assets card. Back out and repeat from step 2.

No Year option

Update the app, then start again from step 1.

Figures look unfamiliar

Check the currency beside the heading — a USD account and an MYR account will not match.

For education only. Not personal advice, and it does not take your own situation into account. Figures in the screenshots are examples from one account and are not a forecast of your own results. Investing carries risk, including the loss of your capital.
